The purpose of the conference was to inform administrative leaders of departments responsible for various policies relating to the Jewish people. Reinhard Heydrich was appointed as the chief executor of the "Final solution to the Jewish question".

Abubaker Deghayes shot in Saltdean, East Sussex. Three of his five sons have left home to fight in Syria, joining an al-Qaeda-affiliated group. One of them; Abdullah was killed in April 2014.

Pleased to hear that Japanese Astronaut Dr. Koichi Wakata is back in space on the International Space Station. He has been tweeting (@astro_wakata) some fabulous images directly from Space. The last time I saw him, he was on the NASA shuttle program STS-72 as the first Japanese Mission Specialist.
